Appalachian Conservation Corps (ACC), a program of Conservation Legacy, is a nonprofit organization that partners with land managers to accomplish impactful and lasting conservation service projects. ACC works to build and support sustainable public access by sending crews into the field for several days at a time, year-round.
Our crew members are our most valuable resource, but learning, quality work, and team-building don’t occur in physical discomfort; they need the appropriate gear in order to have a positive experience and create a meaningful impact in our public lands.
Though our members receive a bi-weekly living stipend, the equipment necessary to do their jobs can be expensive. Simply to join one of our crews, members must be outfitted with all the gear listed in the sponsorship brackets below.
BASECAMP SPONSORSHIP: any contribution up to $150 provides essential clothing & camp necessities: work pants, boots, lights.
RIDGELINE SPONSORSHIP: $200-$450 provides crucial outdoor living necessities such as tents, rain flies, sleeping bags, sleeping pads.
SUMMIT SPONSORSHIP: $500 & up completely outfits one member OR provides group equipment like cookware, food, personal protective gear, or tools.
>Know an outdoor enthusiast or conservation advocate? We invite you to make a lasting impact: an ACC sponsorship makes a great tribute or holiday gift! All sponsors will receive a thank you note on behalf of Appalachian Conservation Corps and its crew members, and Summit Sponsors will receive a certificate of recognition!
